SCONE

Another recipe that i learned during this lockdown.

The Ingredients:
3 cups of self-raising flour
50 gm of butter
1 tea spoon of sugar
A pinch of salt
A cup of milk

The Steps:
1) Mix the flour and butter, sugar and salt.

2. Until it becomes like this.
3. Add in milk and mix.
4. Until it becomes like this or dryer. at this stage, u can add raisin or chocolate chips.
5. Make it into balls and pressed till a bit flat. and bake at 200'C for 20 minutes.
6. And serve!

CEVAPI

Another day of lockdown due to COVID-19. Today's recipe is Cevapi.. its Bosnian /Balkan cuisine that i altered a bit due to limited resource during this lockdown time.

The Ingredients:
2 Sausages
BBQ sauce to prep the sausage (or any sauce you like)
Bread (any type you like)
Onion (holland or bid red onion)

The steps:

1. Cover the sausages with BBQ sauce and leave for 15 minutes. the longer the better. and grill.


2. Heat the bread on a pan . and cut the onion. Put the sausages on the bread.

3. and put onion on too of it. and cover!
4. Serve.


One day i will go to Bosnia and eat the original Cevapi :p

SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO

Its lockdown in Malaysia. I am using this time to try new recipes and brush up my cooking skill.

The Ingredients:
Spaghetti
Garlic chopped
cherry tomato
Chilli flakes
Olive oil
Fish ball (can be replaced with squid, prawn, chicken or beef, which ever you like)
salt, pepper and parskey powder (can use fresh parsley if available)

The Steps:
1) Boil the spaghetti, put in some salt and oil.

2. Chop the garlic
3. Cut the cherry tomatoes into 2. Grill  the fish ball in air fryer and cut into 8 (or into which ever size and shape you want)
4. Strain the boiled spaghetti. Don't over boil until the spaghetti is very soft.
5. Hot the pan. Put in olive oil, about 3-4 spoons. Put in the chopped garlic and chilli flakes.
6. After the garlic is lightly browned, put in the fish balls and chopped tomatoes. Add in salt, pepper and parsley.
7. cook for awhile and then put in the spaghetti. if too dry, put in a bit of the water used to boil the spaghetti.
8. Mix well. and serve hot.

CHEEZY EGG

CHEEZY EGG. Can be eaten with bread, put in a wrap, used as a dip or eaten on its own.

1. Blend 2 egg whites with blender. Put in a pan. Put in diced tomatoes, spinach and mozarella cheese. Cook.

2. Serve.

BEEF CHILI WRAP

BEEF CHILI WRAP.
Using chilli left over.

INGREDIENTS:
LEFTOVER CHILLI
1 WRAP
1 SLICE OF MOZARELLA CHEESE
FEW SLICES OF TOMATO
BABY ROMAINE CUT INTO SMALL PIECES

THE STEPS:

1. PUT 1 WRAP ON BAKING TRAY. PUT A SCOOP OF LEFTOVER CHILI ON THE WRAP.

2. PUT MOZARELLA SLICE ON TOP. AND BAKE IN OVEN 200'C FOR 7 MINUTES.

3. PUT THE THE TOMATO SLICES AND BABY ROMAINE ON TOP.

4. READY TO SERVE. 😋😋😋

CHILI CON CARNE

INGREDIENTS:
200gram minced meat
Half can of beans
Half can of canned tomatoes
1 onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, ground
Half of green bell pepper, diced
Half of red bell pepper, diced
Half of yellow bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon of chilli powder
1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
1 teapoon of ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of salt
some water
Olive oil 1 table spoon

THE STEPS:
1. Heat the olive oil. put in onion, bell peppers, and garlic.

2. After 2 minutes, add in the minced meat.

3. After the meat has browned, add in chilli powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, ground cinnamon and ground cumin.

4. Stir and let them cook a bit. Then add in the canned tomatoes.

5. Mix well. Then add in the beans.

6. Add in water. Simmer for 20 - 25 minutes.

7. Ready to serve.
